OVERVIEW

LOCATION

The Site is located between Poole Bridge & the Twin Sails bridge. This gives it a gateway position for commuters & visitors approaching Poole via either bridge. The site also falls at the end of the route on Poole’s historic Quay, fronting the Backwater Channel and Hamworthy.

Adjacent to the site along the quay are several industrial warehouses. This location plan indicates the regeneration happening on the Hamworthy side of the Back Water Channel between the bridges land. And the courtyard plan of the proposed Marina Quay The development plan will create a new Quayside exceeding 250 metres in length, with an area of more than half an acre, to continue the public access and link to Old Poole’s Quayside.
